Stranger in a Strange Land

Hi!  I would never have thought 10 years ago that I, a born and raised Texan, would move to Yankee Land (Pittsburgh, PA).  But here I am, and I love it.  Don't get me wrong, I will always be a Dallas Cowboys and a Dallas Stars fan, but I find plenty of room to root for the Steelers and the Penguins...as long as they don't play Dallas.  

I was in the Military for 13 years as a Russian Linguist, before finishing my Degree at Texas State University.  Then, after an exhaustive search for a job here in Pittsburgh, Jason Wolfe gave me a chance as a Software Developer with MyCoupons.com.  I will forever be thankful to him for this, and have loved working here for the past few years trying to make MyCoupons the best coupon code site on the Internet.  With Greg Stoltz as our leader, I only see great things in our future. 

As I have said before, I enjoy watching Football and Hockey.  I also am a big NASCAR fan, rooting for Dale Jarrett and the UPS team.  Unfortunately, he is retiring this coming year, so I will be switching my allegiance to Kasey Kahne mid-season. 

Since I moved to Pittsburgh in 2005, I've been blessed with 2 daughters, Anastasia Elise (shown in the picture holding the pumpkin), and our newest arrival (29 November, 2007) Liliana Rose.  With my wife Marcy and our female dog, Katya, I am greatly out-numbered at home, but I don't mind.  My brother-in-law says I should pray for deafness.
